Oracle VCP Consulting Presales Director

Location – United States, 50-70% travel required

This is a senior sales role responsible for representing Inspirage to our potential clients and managing relationships with Oracle sales teams through the full life cycle of application and consulting services sales activities. The role should be able to represent the value proposition of Inspirage services and the benefits of the Oracle Value Chain Planning applications to our prospective clients.

The Inspirage Consulting Presales Director will report directly to Inspirage Partners responsible for North American based commercial and enterprise accounts and interact with another senior Practice Director with similar responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting, identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.
  2. Preparation and presenting formal proposals to executive levels of organizations
  3. Leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process and closing deals
  4. Supporting the development of collateral to support sales activities and marketing.

Skills Required:

  • 8-12 years of professional selling experience in high-tech solutions/service related industry, preferably in a Supply Chain Management services company
  • Oracle ERP or VCP, i2, Manugistics or equivalent experience a strong plus
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Demonstrated presentation, communication, organization, time management, and client management skills
  • Experience in consulting methodologies and/or project management
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Bachelors or Masters degree.
