Customer Case Study: A Complete End-to-End ERP Solution
In 2016, Biforst embarked on an engagement with a major convenience store chain. This retailer is Malaysia’s largest petroleum retail network with over 1,000 stations and 725 convenience outlets throughout the country. Biforst was contracted by their client to manage the supply network for these outlets. As part of this engagement, Biforst will manage a supply chain network of around 1,000 outlets, 120 suppliers and 1800 SKU’s through their central distribution center.
As a mandate from their client, Biforst needed to have a standard ERP and warehouse management solution before their services commenced. Biforst needed an end-to-end solution deployed within four weeks leveraging industry standard practices that could be rolled out to the rest of the business units. The scope included rolling out ERP for Biforst’s commercial retail business covering procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory management and record-to-report processes on ERP cloud as well as on-premise warehouse management (WMS) – all done in 33 days.
