Oracle introduces three new Advanced Planning applications for Release 12.1

Three of these applications are part of the Oracle Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) suite and the fourth is a new manufacturing application.
These new applications are available for Oracle applications Release 12.1:
o Oracle Advanced Planning Command Center
o Oracle Service Parts Planning
o Oracle Demand Signal Repository
o Oracle Manufacturing Operations Center

Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle’s Demantra 7.1.1 yesterday, expanding on its industry leading demand management functionality Oracle obtained through its acquisition of Demantra. With Release 7.1.1, Demantra also becomes part of the Advanced Planning solution within the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, giving companies the ability to accurately predict demand, shape profitability for their products and proactively manage complex global supply chains.
