Extending & Expanding the Strategic Value of PLM: Inspirage Scene and Be Heard Theater, OOW 2013

Leading companies are not only improving their use of Oracle/Agile PLM for managing product content, and driving collaboration and visibility, but are now evolving to its becoming a foundation for a broader set of enterprise process enablement. In addition to the traditional ePLM processes, leaders are making investments in PLM to help further drive top line revenue growth, and to improve management of product costs, sometimes coming in the way of regulatory compliance in different forms. A few top PLM issues that will be discussed are associated to newer regulatory mandates (Unique Device Identifier (UDI), the other Conflict Minerals), with another being deeper integrations between PLM to Integrated Business Planning processes, or IBP.
